Anderson’s favorite things

For AJ’s first birthday I threw a pinterest worthy celebration. The baseball themed bash had custom invitations from etsy, I crafted banners and cupcake toppers and there were baseball sugar cookie favors hand iced with love by grandma.

This time around we’re doing things a little different. A simple party filled with love and no stress or fuss.

It won’t be pinned and there will be no glue guns required. Just all of AJ’s favorite things:

*family!
*bubbles!
*curious george cake!
*a monsters inc piñata!
*water table!
*balloons!
*grapes!
*disco tunes!

I can’t wait to see his smile!

Isn’t it ironic…

We sold our house this weekend. Three days after being bumped from our dream house and the day before our original contract deadline.

And the people are paying cash. Like they couldn’t have taken their wads of money out from under the mattress four days ago?

So now we are on the hunt for dream house #2 fast and furiously. On AJ’s wish list??

Tubby
Baby kitties (deer)
Monsters

I don’t know if those kind of upgrades are in the budget.

We lost the house. We didn’t sell ours in time and the owners of the new place bumped our contract for a better offer.

Brian’s car broke down.

I asked my son during bath time “who loves you the most?” his response? “Amy does!” As in Amy the daycare teacher.
