Party at My Crib

- the best thing about my life is who I get to share it with -
Today is our four year wedding anniversary. Instead of a sappy card, I thought I’d succumb to your request for me to start blogging again. So, Brian, here’s my first post back at it…an ode to you.
Four years ago today you were so nervous about marrying me you were throwing up in the dumpster outside of the church. I’m so glad your stomach settled and you went through with it, because I’m so glad to have had you by my side these last few years.
We’ve built a pretty tremendous life together and have the most beautiful little boy to show for it. Anderson is a lot like his daddy. He loves basketball and giggling and has little patience:) I love your daily routines with him, even if I harbor a little jealousy that he’ll run right past me at a daycare pick up to jump into your arms.
While your affinity for horse racing, the NCAA tournament, the Yankees and fantasy football used to be endearing, I admit I’ve started to give you a hard time about it. But truth be told, I love that we have our own “passions” and independence.
I love how thoughtful you are and I am so glad that I’ve chosen a partner who makes me laugh everyday. I think everyone who knows you would consider you a fantastic son, a terrific son-in-law, a great friend, a fabulous co-worker, a good friend and an amazing father - I’m so glad you’re my husband. Happy Anniversary!
